The Key to Happiness

I just read a powerpoint about this, I know it seems pathetic but it reminded me of some very important, which I hope to share with my friends (:

Let me put it this way

Scenario 1: “Stop screaming and crying, what do you want from me?!” shouts a mother, who is exhausted by the disturbance caused by her young children.

Scenario 2: “I’m not a 5 year old, I know what I’m doing and what I will do!” A typical teenager who is annoyed by his parents’ “caring” attitude.

Scenario 3: “I have so much work to do and I’m so very stressed out, can’t they just give me a break?”

There are times when we blame others for our bad mood or impatience. When you come to think of it, aren’t we just blaming others again and again? In other words, you’ve made your own emotions susceptible to what others have done, so you’ve put someone else in charge of your own happiness. Hmm… that doesn’t sound right, shouldn’t we be the ones to control our lives? Meaning we should be the one in charge of our own emotions, attitude and well-being. We will never be happy if we make our happiness dependent on what others do, and so we ourselves hold the key to our own happiness.

Hope we can all hold our keys to open the doors of happiness. x

We’re not perfect, any of us. We make mistakes, we screw up but then we forgive and move forward.
